What is Km For Kilos?
Km For Kilos is a three-day corporate cycling challenge, riding throughout 400km of regional NSW, to raise funds Foodbank NSW & ACT, enabling us to continue providing food to those most in need across the state and territory.
When and where will Km For Kilos 2025 be held?
Km For Kilos 2025 will take place from 1-3 May 2025. The ride will begin in Orange, travel through picturesque Forbes and Young before before arriving in Cootamundra, with transfers back to the start the day after the ride ends.
Riders will be required to meet in Orange on 30 April for the welcome dinner, and be ready to start riding on the morning of the 1st of May. Accommodation and dinner for that evening is included in your registration fee.
Therefore, full dates to mark in your diary are 30 April - 4 May 2025.
I'm a beginner rider - can I still take part?
Our ride partner, Entoure, will be hosting a number of training rides in the lead up to the Ride to help get you up to this level.

How much does it cost to enter?
What is included in my registration fee?
This fee covers meals and accommodation for four nights (April 30 - May 3 inclusive).
Also included is the provision of the rider kit and all logistics, safety and medical support.
I am registered, but I can no longer take part - can my regsitration be transferred to someone else?
Km For Kilos entries are transferrable as long as your replacement can meet the minimum event criteria in relation to fitness and fundraising, and as such will need to accept the event terms and conditions.
We can only refund your registration fee before the cut off date of 1 March 2025 (tbc).
Fundraising
Is fundraising compulsory?
Yes. Every rider will be expected to raise at least $4000 - this is so Foodbank NSW & ACT can continue to support even more people in communities around NSW and the ACT doing it tough.
Where do my fundraising dollars go?
At Foodbank NSW & ACT, we are committed to supporting our community in need across the state and territory, no matter who you are or what you need. We believe everyone deserves access to quality, nutritious food and last year, we worked tirelessly to make that a reality for more people in our communities.
Our goal for this year's event is to raise $120,000, and every dollar raised in the lead up to the ride will be used to make a significant difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity across NSW and the ACT.
Can I request my donations are used to support communities in a specific region?
There are many people facing food insecrutiy all over the state and territory, many of which are not receiving the support the need.
The demand for food relief is constantly growing - for this reason, funds raised from the event will be directed to food relief efforts in communities where there is the greatest need.
How do I fundraise?
When you complete your online registration and payment, you will automatically be emailed a link to login to your unique fundraising page.
Your fundraising page has social sharing buttons with suggested wording for your posts to help you share your message far and wide with friends and family.
You will also have access to a range of social media tiles and email signatures which will be downloadable from your page.
